I have thoroughly enjoyed the Yes We Can CD I purchased. I like how they mixed some of Obama's speech into the song mix. I think Stevie Wonder's song-Signed, Sealed, Delivered, is the only song that doesn't have that. I am very pleased with this purchase. Rating: 5 Moving and Grooving! I bought this CD to support the campaign & for the memorabilia. Finally popped it in the player this week on the way to work. BIG MISTAKE! Hard to drive when you're crying! Not only moved by snippets of Obama inspiring in that way he does...but also by the most memorable words of Martin Luther King. I knew the CD would be a good campaign memory, but was really impressed and excited by the inspiration and great choices of the music. Except for the last track, I totally enjoy each cut and that Barack is woven throughout. I now have bought five more for presents...and may just have to pick up a few more now that I figured out I could save $5 here at Amazon vs. the campaign site. If you have any sense of history, you'll want to own this one, and will be surprised by how much you play it. Rating: 5 Yes We Can! Very Inspriational! A Work of Art! I got the album and I can't stop listening to it. The creativity behind it. And how parts of Obama's profounding speeches and Dr. Martin Luthur King's speeches were incorporated into the songs was so unique. Its an album I would never mind hearing over and over again. Its a legacy for your childrens children to listen and learn through music. Not only are the songs great, but the passion behind the project is what really drove me to not only buy the CD but to make sure that all of my friends knew about it. YES WE DID!!!! |
