You can't go wrong with this CD. It is AWESOME!! The Zac Brown Band has a sound that is uniquely their own. Actually, they have several sounds that are uniquely their own. Each song is completely different from the previous song. There's a little reggae, country, rock and blue grass. They are accomplished musicians and they put together a sound unlike anything I have ever heard, and their sense of humor doesn't hurt either. My husband and I took a 2600 mile trip over the holidays and we listened to "Foundation" by the Zac Brown Band over and over again. We both love it and we never grew tired of listening to them. They are GREAT!!!! We tried listening to other artists CD's, but it wasn't long before we would switch back to The Zac Brown Band. We both love every song on the CD. Rating: 5 Good Gift This was a pre-order as a gift for my husband. He LOVED it! The packaging was a bit unusual, but the music was great! The price was great too! Rating: 5 CAIN'T SIT STILL I dare anyone to sit still or not smile while listening to this CD. I heard "Chicken Fried" while browsing on Rhapsody and loved it. I'd never heard of ZBB so I decided to check them out. After listening to "The Foundation" I immediately purchased it and have been listening ever since. I love the mixture of country, island, and bluegrass-like sound. Zac Brown's vocals are pure and clean and the musicianship is extraordinary all throughout. Simple, and fun, and a hoot to listen to, this CD is one I don't think I'll ever tire of. Can't wait for the next one and would love to catch them live. |
