Double CD Double Bomb
I'm so glad I only paid 1/2 price for this double CD. And maybe that was too much. There are only about 3 cuts in total that are worth listening to. I just expected more from a super star like Beounce.

Beyonce CD
When I received this Beyonce CD in the mail, the CD case was cracked and damaged.

An insult to fans
I don't know where to begin. It's all a bit too try hard, especially DIVA where she comes across very obnoxious. I'm disappointed. Single Ladies and Sweet Dreams are the only songs I can stand. The rest are too bland to listen too.
As they say in the hood, Puff Puff Pass!

Why do R&B fans not recognize true talent anymore?
If you are reading this trying to decide whether or not to buy this album, don't. I would like to recommend 3 excellent albums as an alternative-Janet Jackson's 2008 "Discipline", Toni Braxton's 2005 "Libra", and Deborah Cox's 2008 "The Promise". I went online and listened to samples of all the tracks from Beyonce's "Sasha Fierce",and they were all so trite and bland-totally left me with the impression that people only buy this album because 'hey, it's Beyonce!' I seriously don't get why crap like this sells so much better than the really good R&B records. True; Janet's record label quit promoting "Discipline" after one single, Toni's label never bothered promoting "Libra" at all because they were too busy with JoJo (another brainless wannabe like Beyonce), and Deborah is on an independent label that probably doesn't have the resources for a big promotion blitz. But even so those three all put out awesome albums in their most recent outings, and heavy promotion or not there was still enough buzz about their albums that fans knew they were coming out-and yet none of those albums got ANY attention at all! And Toni/Janet/Deborah have all worked hard over the years and paid their dues! All Beyonce does is get in the studio, throw a bunch of tracks together with hardly any thought-and yet she sells just because her name is Beyonce?!!?!!!?! C'mon people, wake up and go for the real R&B talent-and stay away from Beyonce!

Much better than I thought....
I actually downloaded this CD (no, not for free), and it has blown me away. There are about 6 songs on there that I absolutely love. I have to say that Beyonce has grown musically since she started in Destinys Child. She has hit new notes, and sounds great. My favorites are "Radio", and "Halo". If you are a hardcore Beyonce club, dance around songs that she used to make, then this CD may not be for you... except she has carried over that club, upbeat sound to the song "Single Ladies..". I hope she continues this new sound she has created, I love it!
