Great CD!
I really love this second CD from Shiny Toy Guns! I initially got into the band when I heard the "Le Disko" song from the iPod commercial. I actually did see them in concert as well and they were a very energetic band with a lot of chemistry. I really love their music and this CD I do listen to a lot. I was very happy when I finally got the CD in the mail and I could not stop listening to it. I recommend this CD for anyone who likes them!

Give it a chance..
I'll admit it.. when I opened the cd in the parking lot and threw it in my cd player I was really disapointed. But after going to see the band live I eventually found the cd under my car seat and put it back in.
The cd is very good! When Did This Storm Begin is a bit confusing and sounds like three songs put together and I think if you can get past that and Ghost Town you'll be alright. My favorite songs are: Money for That, Ricochet!, Poison, Blown Away, and Frozen Oceans. Even though there are some songs I definetely skip through the good outweighs the bad. The cd hasn't left my car in weeks!

STG- New Disk
I just discovered this band when I heard their cover of the "Finale / Reprise" on the Nightmare Revisited cover project. I was not familiar with them, the lineup or anything. So I started listening to their other stuff- and liked it. ALL.
As i researched it- i found that they just released this new disk. I got it and started listening and I REALLY love the NEW disk. Actually, I like it more than the 1st album.
I have read a lot of people complaining about 'they are not as good without Carah'. But coming from someone who heard it all fresh, I think the new girl is easily as good and I frankly prefer her on the new songs.
And what do you know- but I discover they are to play at a club in my town so I go to see them. The show was great, the performances were flawless and I left a true fan.
I always think its funny when a band grows and evolves, and the fans all go nuts saying stuff like 'they sold out' or 'they are not what they used to be'. NO band can survive without evolving. STG has achieved a new plateau and I hope that they continue to grow.
