Amazon put this download on sale so I bite and I'm so glad that I did. This is a very easy record to listen to with its pop sensibility and musical depth. I find myself listening to this record over and over again without growing tired of it. These guys have their own thing going on which is refreshing in today's musical climate. I just have to figure out which record to get next. Rating: 4 Another excellent album I happened to have seen them, live, in Omaha, NE, and I was unaware of this album. I checked a few clips, and remember some of the songs They are mesmerizing. Their style is what it is. Eclectic for sure, but their own. Not outstanding, but excellent. Rating: 5 Get it.... Another great Calexico CD.....get it! I simply can't get enough of them, and if you like their recorded music, you should see them in person.....awesome!!!! Rating: 4 Nice Tracks! Another great record from Calexico. The compositions are wonderful and the recording quality is pure warm southwest tastyness. Rating: 5 Great songs for listening or singing to. Listening to these somgs comes as easy as a soft afternoon in the shade of a big maple tree. Never tire of them and hear something new each time. Recommended. |
