Never reviewed any album ever for amazon. After downloading this album from Lindsey I couldn't help myself. Do your self a favor and buy this album right now. You will not believe how catchy this cd is. I am on my 3rd straight run through of the album and I can't believe how good it is! Been a fan of Mac, Stevie, and Lindsey for years and this is AMAZING! believe me! Rating: 5 Great cd At first listen I wasn't quite sold on this disc so I thought I would give it a few months before reviewing it. After repeated listens this cd gets better and better. This is a great cd if you are a fan of LB's solo material. I enjoyed "Out of the Cradle" and "Under The Skin" however I think this one has slightly better songs and the songs are more memorable. My only problem with this one is the vocals are too far back in the mix. He's an excellent singer and his vocals should be up front and center. As usual, the guitar playing by LB is fantastic. He's on a roll....maybe he'll put out another one soon! Rating: 5 Great Day! Virtuoso guitar - Lindsey rocks. Deep down there is freedom, deep down there will be a reason. At the end of the season we will rise from this treason. Rating: 5 Lindsey Buckingham Please do not rate album until you have listened to it several time. His fret work is unsurpassed and his singing is as strong and pleasant as ever. Rating: 5 Another Great One Go Insane, Out of the Cradle, Under the Skin and now this. He uses less instruments than Insane and Cradle, but is becoming such a virtuoso on acoustic guitar you dont notice. I got it today and have probably heard it 5 times so far. |
