But... this is a great CD from a great artist! If you have any interest in Spanish music or have friends who like Spanish music get this CD for them! She is great live! Rating: 4 Viva Venegas The sound and video is spectacular. Julietta displays her multi instrumental talents and is accompanied by great special guests. A real treat Rating: 5 Grande! I heard this young woman interviewed on NPR and then looked for and ordered this CD. I am not a Spanish speaker (wish I were) but the music and her style is simply wonderful. Rating: 5 Exquisite This album is so good, by far the best work of Julieta's distinguished career. The hauntingly beautiful duet with Marisa Monte brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. Rating: 5 terrific i had never heard of Julieta before i happened on an unplugged concert on TV and loved it. i bought the CD and play it all the time. i don't speak Spanish but its not necessary to enjoy her singing and the warmth that comes through on every song. i'm now a big fan. |
