The Flip is quite simply, in my opinion, the easiest camcorder to use. There are minimal buttons to push and using it is very intuitive. You can have it out of the box and taking video with it in less than a minute. There are no cards, tapes, disks, or cables to keep track of. All the memory is built in and it comes with a built in USB adapter that allows you to upload all your video to your computer fast. There are even options within the software to email your videos or to upload them directly to popular video websites like YouTube. The Flip has all its software stored on the camera itself, so you can use it on a friend or family member’s computer too!
Not only is the Flip easy to use, the quality for the price is excellent and it is pretty inexpensive. If you’re looking for something to just have with you on the go all the time, the Flip is perfect. I have personally used the Flip to film my niece and nephew’s soccer and baseball games, family gatherings, my dog, you name it! I have been quite pleased with my Flip Ultra and I’m looking forward to getting the new Flip Mino HD, the most inexpensive high definition camera on the market.
The only thing I wish was better on the Flip is the zoom capability, but given all the pluses this video camera has, that downside is negligible. The Flip video camera is good value for the money and offers the perfect way for you to preserve holiday memories!
